Sheriff’s sales for foreclosure and tax delinquent properties will be held every Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. in the lobby of the Miami County Sheriff’s Office located at 201 W. Main Street, Troy, Ohio. (Please bring a completed buyer form with you to the auction. It can be found in Related Forms to the right.)

Sale notices are published weekly on Friday in the Troy Daily News or Piqua Daily Call. Properties listed for auction are NOT open for inspection or tours. The Sheriff’s Office does not fax or mail information regarding the sale of properties. Copies of sale lists are available through the records section and can be obtained Mon-Fri from 8:00 am- 4:00 pm.

In accordance with House Bill 390 a successful 3rd party bidder must be prepared to put down a deposit (check/money order) of:

 >$10,000 </= $200,000 $5,000    
 >$200,000 $10,000

If the judgement creditor purchases they shall not be required to make a deposit per ORC 2329.11

All tax sales will take place on the same day and time as foreclosure sales and the successful bidder must be prepared to pay 100% of purchaser price in addition to 1% of the purchase price for transfer, conveyance, and recording fees at the conclusion of sale.  If additional information is needed please contact Jen Lade at 937-440-3467 Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. -  4:00 P.M.
